I use salt and pepper on my sauce because I use tomato paste straight from the can. That's the first thing that goes on it. I add other stuff too like granulated garlic and a dry spaghetti sauce mix from Costco. If I feel like it, I'll add about 3 tablespoons of chopped garlic on top of everything. Oh yeah.
