A couple of months ago I kept getting calls from some out of state
number. I'd get the same call about 3 times a day. Nope, I don't know
anyone who lives in that area code. I can't for the life of me remember
if caller ID said it was from that vague "mortgage loan" or "auto
insurance". Some such BS.

The area code remained the same but the number kept morphing and it
wasn't even the same exchange much less sequential extension numbers.

One day I had ENOUGH. I finally picked up the phone and before the guy
got three words out I yelled at the top of my voice, "NO!!! NO! NO! NO!
NO!". I added a few choice curse words before saying "DO NOT CALL!" I
haven't gotten a call from that particular area code since. :-D

The problem with that method is you have to get fed up enough to answer
the phone. LOL
