Most first time home buyers, even those who can well afford the
mortgage payments, get into deep doodoo because they never realized
what it costs to maintain a house compared to an apartment and they
are unwilling to alter their life style.... they don't know and no one
tells them that when the roof begins to leak you spend your vacation
eating tube steak in the back yard... and often you work your
vacation. A lot of new homeowners don't realize that now they are the
landlord and need to go to the Church of Present Day DIY... home
ownership separates a Mench from a Moroon. ALL the priorities one had
living in an apartment no longer apply owning a house.
