There was a public awareness campaign a few years ago to warn people
about overdoing Tylenol. It seems that taking more than the recommended
dose is not as harmless as some people think an OTC painkiller should be.

When I broke my rib(s) about 5 years ago the doctor at the ER prescribed
Tylenol 3 in combination with Ibuprofen, citing the problem with too
much acetaminophen. IIRC it was combination of the two at night and just
the Ibuprofen during the day.
