When I went into ER last summer for stomach flu which turned out to be a
gall bladder attack they gave me demerol at first. It worked great and
by late afternoon I thought I was cured and ready to go back home.
Shortly after that the pain came back just before the nurse came with
more pain meds. After the surgery they gave me Toradol, which
apparently has some side effects and should not be used for extended
periods. At the time it seemed effective and to have no side effects,
other than crazy neon bright technodreams.
