Yes, from San Francisco.

As a kid I remember it as being quite good and having
originated in Chinatown for US tastes. The main ingredients
were skinny, round soft noodle, some meat and vegetables
(stir fried), bean sprouts (barely cooked), water chestnuts
and often topped with some crispy noodles. However, I'm from
England, so what do I know?
