But you didn't tell her that first. Nor did you bother to list every
single thing you can't eat before you ordered it. Your list of "I
can't, I won't" is longer than the menu so naturally you couldn't tell
her all the things you won't eat. You'd have been there all night.

You could do like other people do. Specify what you want. If it's not
available they'll tell you. Just because it's not exactly what is
listed on the menu doesn't mean they can't do it.

BTW, Ed was being facetious when he posted this. Just because the
computer offered choices for beef doesn't mean braised beef will be
served rare. DUH.
