Looks nice and 'crip-sy' around the edges.
Meat loaf is a staple around here in the winter. I've been making them individually, tho. Bakes up faster and no cool-down time wasted in the slicing.
I place em on a cooking rack which is covered with perforated foil, then on a cookie sheet. Easy cleanup and the fat runs thru to the cookie sheet.
Best part of meat loaf is those nice cold slabs for a quick sandwich the next day.
Reminds me of old teenage admonition: "Don't let your meat loaf." (ducks and runs)
