I can only tolerate pumpkin pie. I take a bite expecting it to taste
like my mom's sweet potato pie because that's what it looks like. Of
course it doesn't taste like sweet potato pie so it seems "off" to my
taste buds.

The problem is in my head. I'm sure the pies are very good, I just
can't turn off my expectations.
