One only has to look at the posts on this newsgroup to see the mistrust of the Chinese by Westerners. China has typically had a more advanced civilization than the rest of the world pretty much from the start. It seems fairly obvious that it's going to be the manufacturing/technological giant in this century.

We, as Americans, like to think that the sun never sets on ourselves but we should remember what happened to the last people that had that attitude. And the beat goes on.
