Where I live there are still quite a few absolutely beautiful wood
stoves that are still in good condition, even though some are pushing
a century old now. Mind you, most all of those left in good condition
are quite massive and use very heavy cast iron, designed to cook for
large numbers of people - but such things of beauty and the
workmanship is excellent.
