There are better/other brands. I just meant that she and husband try a
can of any kind if they've never had clam chowder. No matter what
brand, it will give them an idea if they might like it. If so, go for
the homemade next time.
And if she likes it, still seek out fresh clams and not canned ones.
They might work ok but you KNOW that fresh would be better. Shame on
you if you don't agree with that (fresh vs canned)'
