Yeah! What the hell? I'll just go spend $65++ rather than make a
killer meal at home for about $10++. I'm required to spend the money
anyway.

The difference is that she would have to spend the $10 to make a meal at
home. She has to pay an exorbitant amount every year to the "club" even if
she doesn't eat anything! So, she might as well get some enjoyment out of
it.
