Those topics are like those well-worn stories and arguments and
teasing accusations friends and families loves to drag out and rehash
every so often. Mostly to annoy each other.
If you were at home you could avoid the same-old-same-old rituals by
taking the dog out or disappear to slam around in the kitchen/garage. On
usenet it's even easier, just block the thread.
