I suggest board games or non-board ones like charades, but if yours is not a
family of game players, it might feel forced. Last Thanksgiving we had a
rollicking game of Cranium at my in-laws'. We split up the couples and the
expertise so no one would feel left out. There are singing, charades, and
drawing options (something for everyone) and we mixed up the generations for
the teams. I lost the game-winning question when my DH's 83 year-old
grandmother and 12 year-old cousin, my teammates, didn't recognize my
humming of the Beatles' Yesterday.
But what I'm really writing to ask is do you really decorate your Christmas
tree on Thanksgiving?
