I've seen this! My boyfriend, who never buys grated cheese because he prefers
to hand-grate, thought this was ridiculous.

What I do think is kind of a nice idea, though, is the hand operated cheese
grater that is shaped like a big cylinder. The cheese lives in the middle, and
can be stored in your fridge. The grates are on the inside, and when you turn
the crank, it grates the cheese.
