Yes. I can remember as a child we decorated the tree on the weekend of
Thanksgiving. If we weren't having company, we decorated on TG day. Now
that I am older, it usually works well to decorate on TG day. I don't watch
the football games on TV, nothing much is open, and I don't have much
family, so decorating the tree gives us something to do. By the end of
November, the good weather is running out. I have been known to decorate
outside the week before TG if the weather forecast indicates that weekend
would be better. If I wait until December, there is too much chance for ice
and snow. Don't ask when everything comes down!
