Waffles are almost always a disappointment. It is amazing how a lace
that does them professionally<?> can screw them up so badly. My wife
and I are among the few who own a waffle iron and use it regularly. A
nice home made waffle right off the griddle can be a beautiful thing.
Any time I have had them in any type of restaurant they have been a
terrible disappointment.
