Sometimes I rinse it. Sometimes I don't. I'd be more likely to rinse
it if I bought it the day or two before, less likely if I cook it the
same day I bought it. I only salt it for seasoning right before I
cook it.
Her routine probably does something- makes the chicken salty, perhaps?
