The natural diet of chickens is omnivorous; kept free-range with ad-lib
greens and grains, they are avid hunters, killers and eaters of mice,
frogs, naked nestlings and eggs of other birds. plus worms, slugs and
crawling/flying bugs and insects. Same for ducks and pheasants.

Pigs will kill and eat any other animal they get chance to, including
piglets.
