You were there too?

My father stood in line to get tickets for me and a couple of my
friends. If I remember correctly, CHUM FM or another radio station was
giving out roses to parents who got tickets for their kids.

And I was the teenage girl screaming the loudest. :-)

My big music moment was in around 1968. My dad was in the military,
and was posted to Germany. Us underage kids used to go out to the
clubs drinking. One night, we went to a place where there was an
unknown band called the Yardbirds playing. My girlfriend and I invited
the guys in the band back to her house the next day. They actually
showed up, and we served them egg salad sandwiches and lemonade for
lunch.

It was only many years later that I realized we were hosting Jimmy
Page. I don't know if he liked our egg salad sandwiches.
