I've recently quit eating split-pea soup. The last batch was the most
painful episode of legume gas I've ever suffered.

A tip for continuing split-pea lovers. Fry up 1/2 lb of crispy bacon
and add at the end. Bacon makes split-pea lovers outta split-pea
haters.
