Like it or not, it is best to stay current.

As a libertarian leaning independent I already know I'm out of the bell
shaped curve, which is fine.

But I'm not going to grade anyone or thing based on Watergate, LBJ, or
other non-local philosophies.

Work from what is - that's the only sound road map to use.

Think of it like you car's navi - you don't want the disc to be years
old and full of drops.
