So true! Corn is one vegetable that's worth freezing yourself. I
like to "fire roast" mine first - but there's no cooking other than
the flame. I was so surprised at how fresh home frozen corn can be
that I rarely buy commercial anymore. I should probably say never,
but you know what grandpa used to say: never say never.
