It's poor form to reply to yourself, but I lied. I just bought around a
quarter pound of marmite and a half pound of Kraft vegemite for less
than fifteen bucks on Amazon. Now we'll see.
Spread very thin on something (funnel web spider?) or something else
(was it kangaroo?) from posts in this thread. If I hate them, I can
always steer a conversation with friends toward Aussie food and shock
them with both products. If they like one or the other, I'll give it to
them. From now on, I can say, "Oh, yeah, I've eaten marmite and
vegemite". Just having them is well worth fifteen bucks. Apparently,
both products last forever.
