He did that too. I just gave up and agreed on the white since most of the
houses here seem to have that color. Plus I figured if someone here pulls
down a gutter like they did before and have to replace it, a white one can
easily be purchased.

I can't wait for it to be done! It really does look cheery. Better still,
I now enjoy looking into the backyard. I hated doing that before because
that's where the back house is and it had the mismatched gutter, peeling
door and rotting siding, all because that person *did* pull the gutter off
for reasons unknown.

So now instead of looking out and seeing a decrepit looking building, I see
a pretty one! The person who pulled the gutter off figured that it didn't
matter what that building looked like since nobody could see it from the
street. But I put my foot down there and said that it needed to be kept up
properly. The gutter did get put back up but in the meantime we had severe
storms that year and it was all downhill from there.
