Yes. I was raking leaves when our neighbor ran over with the news. I
dropped the rake and it stayed there for the next couple of weeks,
untouched. The other sad memory for me was my husband saying that Oswald
would never make it to the courthouse. Within seconds, our nine-year-old
came running to us, shouting "Oswald's been shot, Oswald's been shot". I
will never, ever forget the look of horror on that child's face.
