It also has its own lights and I have lights installed that point at the grill because of a previous one that didn't have its own lights. In cold weather I don't hang around outside, I go out, turn the steak or chops or whatever and then step back inside. Don't even need a coat for the amount of time I spend out there when it's cold.

No problem. I didn't mean to turn it into an argument. There's no
overhang, no cover. I simply choose not to grill when it's pouring down
rain.
