Actually the passengers ate roach coach shit... the crew ate the
finast chow NYC had to offer, on par with the NYFD. I happen to know
a couple of ship mates who became NYC tug boat owners, they call me
all the time for menu/recipe recommendations. Dave Silver was a snipe
I served with who owns four huge NYC harbor tugs, a great friend who
is always asking for recommedations for feeding his more than fifty
employees. His brother lives in the Catskills so when he visits his
brother he visits me too, like 3-4 times a year.
