Yep. Our son stayed here last fall and recommended it as a cheap and
convenient spot.

Damn we had a heck of a time getting back. We had a misunderstanding
about where to put the GPS. I am pretty sure I said to leave it in the
glove compartment. She thought I said to take it to the room. No GPS, so
compass and no map.... and it seems left turns are prohibited
everywhere. I almost ended up on the Golden Gate Bridge. I thought I
found a road south but it turned out to be going west. I made one more
left turn and voila.... there was the hotel. Phew.

Thanks. I will keep that in mind. We are going to Palo Alto to visit a
friend and then she is coming up here tomorrow to show us around.
