When I worked retail, we were constantly getting Sharpies on our clothing.
We use cheap hairspray to get it and other ink out but I know it was just
the alcohol in it that got it out. I guess most people had hairspray in
their house in those days. I didn't. So I just used alcohol.

I just attacked my yard waste bin due to the worst fruit fly infestation
I've ever seen. The bin had a lot of rotting pears in it. Our tree was
highly productive this year. I gave pears to everyone I know who wanted
them but there were still a lot high up in the tree that I could not reach.
Those eventually fell off but by then they were much.

I tried using some peppermint soap, then Pinesol and then some straight
peppermint oil and am hoping that I can get the bin to dry out. Somebody
keeps fouling me up on that. If that doesn't work, I will try the alcohol.
