I've just been given about 20lbs of apples of an unrecognisable variety.
I have stewed and moulied all the bruised ones and the mush is currently
in a jelly bag, dripping into a pan for jelly. I don't think the yield
will be very good. I think I will add some of the deep red apples from
my ornamental crab-apple tree to add a bit of colour.
