"Easily"?
My mother-in-law couldn't do it, not with the papers she still has
in her possession. She's 97, never needed a drivers licence, and
hasn't worked for decades.
She's been a registered voter since Wendell Wilkie was on the
ballot. Why the hell would she need something extra now?

And none of my grandmother's family have birth certificates. They
were optional, and my great-grandparents didn't see the point.
Imagine having to prove you exist!
