Cost of a ceramic bidet here starts at around £70, or 106 US dollars.
Their footprint is small, they occupy less space than a laundry basket.

Bathrooms already have hot and cold plumbing and drain exits, so
plumbing and fitting a bidet is within the ability of competent DIY; or
not terribly expensive if you have to pay for labour.
