When I lived on the west side I loved Trotta's. Lot's of garlic and all
fresh ingredients. I grew up with the LaRosa's and had their pizza a
million times. Too sweet for me. They add lot's of sugar to their sauce.
Buddy LaRosa backed Aaron Pryor and Tommy..(oh what's his name) Ayers.
That's it Ayers in the boxing arena. Last I saw of Pryor, he was pan
handling down town. A guy that made millions per fight, lost all to crack
cocaine.
LaRosa's is now redoing most of their restaurants and serving liquor.
They figure bar business is the key to growth. They could always sell
wine with a D2 license, but didn't advertise it.
