Way back when we were kids, my mom caught my sister eating a stick of
margarine one day. uck! Mom never bought butter, only margarine.

Also, I like butter to be soft/hard enough that you can spread it on
bread without tearing but yet cold enough to leave some chunks. yum.
That's what I had with corn chowder last night.
