I think I nailed beef barley soup this week. I had only a few bones so
I padded it out with a box of broth. The part I always had trouble with
before was the barley. It had taken a number of tries for me to realize
that anything more than a little yields a pot full of barley. It always
amazed me how much it grows in there.
