Not in this rural location. Local stores have a very limited customer
base, stock a limited range of goods. They face high transport costs and
are in competition with the bulk purchasing power of online suppliers.
So their profit margin, and price, is already cut to the bone.

The only way they could offer a discount for cash is by cheating the
tax man. Catch 22; there are no secrets in areas like this.
