The color of cheese depends on where you live. I read that in the South it
tends to be a darker color. Here it is usually yellow and on the East
coast, usually white. My husband had issues with the cheese when he first
moved here because we had no white unless you could find a fancy cheese shop
or some such thing. Now you can get white cheddar but it is more likely not
to be.
