I've had some deep fried garlic cloves. They are crispy whole cloves that you can eat as a snack. If I was to use it in cooking, I'd use it as garnish.. Crispy fried garlic is mighty tasty although you're probably going to smell like a Korean afterwards. Of course, that wouldn't stop me.
