I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the pizza chain. A
television ad shows them ladeling what looks like melted cheddar sauce
on the crust. It's orange. It looks like the gunk they put on "nachos"
at a snack bar. Not at all appealing.

Having said that, you can put pretty much anything you want on a pizza.
I'm not a pizza fanatic. I haven't made one from scratch in decades.
Can't be bothered. If a pizza craving hits I just doctor up a frozen
pizza. Yes, sometimes I sprinkle some cheddar on top. But I also add
lots of shredded mozzarella.
