Default Differences in thermometers

I have two digital cooking thermometers, a ThermPro and a Lavatools Javelin Pro.
The ThermPro is the kind with a probe inserted into the meat while it cooks.
Javelin Pro is an instant read with the jackknife type probe that flips out.

Today I was cooking a boneless pork roast and had theThermPro inserted and set
to go off at 145 degrees. It did. When I went to take the roast out of the oven,
I decided to check it with the Javelin Pro, only because it's new and I hadn't
used it yet. The Javelin Pro read 138 degrees. A 7 degree difference? Really?
Which one was right? Do I take the roast out or leave it for a little while
longer. Both got high ratings where I bought them. And the Javelin Pro is a $50
thermometer. Where do I place my trust?
