Canned cream corn is merely de-cobbed corn kernels pre-cooked in a
starch slurry ina votator (steam jacketed inline cooker). It still
gets canned within hours of being picked.
It usta be pretty benign, but now, what with carageenen, etc, and this
GMO nonsense, I wouldn't buy it unless it specifically sez "organic".
Kroger has a new line called Simple Truth. Some is ST Organic and
some is ST Natural. Not sure if they have organic creamed corn.
