Why not? They provide a service? There seems to be no end to the jobs
that some people feel are jobs that require tipping, and those who think
that because the cost of living has gone up, we should pay waiters a
minimum 20%. Even places that have counter service often have tip jars
where I suppose you are supposed to tip for the service you didn't get.
