OTOH, I live in a large metropolitan area and I have no difficulties
finding "farm stands" or "vegetable stands" featuring locally grown produce
that have been set up in parking lots, on corners, by gas stations, etc
during the height of our summer growing season. Sometimes it's just a
pickup truck filled with corn, other times they have other vegetables.
Perhaps I'm just blessed to live in a really great city.
