It has never been cheaper re Halifax/Dartmouth - to appease Dartmouth
they re-named the whole Halifax Regional Municipality, that meant all
the road signs changed, all the buses repainted, it just went on and
on, absolutely ridiculous and frustrating.

I can't see states merging, mostly because each state has their own
peculiarities just like every Province here is unique, but some towns
in NS still talk of merging but cool again when they look at HRM.
Every time politicians get the bit between the teeth, tax payers get
fleeced!
