Default 4th of July foods?

One person here was supposed to have been away but another person in that
party became ill so the trip is off. Luckily I pretty much had all I needed
so I can cobble together a meal.

I just finished the pot of beans that I like. I made them early because I
much prefer eating them cold. Also made another big batch of pasta salad.
I've been making one batch per week, varying the pasta shapes and
ingredients each time. This time, the only good peppers I could find were
very small so I cut them in smaller pieces and added more tomatoes. Yes, I
could have looked somewhere else for better peppers. I didn't. Also used
curly parsley as they had no flat. And yes, I could have looked for that too
elsewhere.

Got a red while and blue cake mix and star spangled frosting on Clearance at
Fred Meyers so will make a cake later.

Got 4 different kinds of tubular meats. Not sure what two of them are. sw
would likely know. One says steak seasoned. I got pretty much everything on
sale so was just going for cheap. Also some Quick'N Eats frozen burger
patties. Not my favorite but quick and cheap. Also buns and fruit.

Usually make popcorn around midnight so we can eat it while watching the
Fireworks.

What are your plans? And yes, I know not everyone celebrates this holiday.
