I installed one because of the incidence of the deliberate accident
scam. This is where a car load of people cut you off and slam on the
brakes causing a rear ender. They then claim ridiculous amounts for
injuries etc.
Recently, there was an incident in Vancouver where, fortunately, the
victim had a dashcam and the crooks ended up in court instead.
