Oh, I bet you can find women in Dearborn wearing the burqa/niqab. I
just don't go there often enough to observe it personally. Apart
from a large Muslim population, Dearborn is just another first-tier
Detroit suburb. There's a nice Middle Eastern market right across
the street from my office (and several other good ones around town),
so I don't need to travel to Dearborn to pick up (for example) cheap
lentils.
