Same here. My gas stove/oven is over 30 years old but I love it. The
oven will heat up the kitchen so I don't use it much in the summer. Like
you though, on cold days I'll use it and the heat and smell makes the
place seem warm and cozy.

I use it more in the winter but I don't ignore it in the summer. An hour
on is fine with me with the ac running.
